Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Ailin Huang
Dr. Ailin Huang obtained both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo. While studying at the school of optometry she rotated through many various specialty clinics including contact lens, pediatrics, and binocular vision. In addition, Dr.
Huang also spent 4 months in Florida where she worked alongside cataract and retinal specialists at the Eye Associates of Pinellas. This experience allowed her to gain valuable diagnostic knowledge in managing diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic
retinopathy.
She enjoys all aspects of optometry and looks forward to providing quality eyecare to help her patients improve their vision and overall eye health. Aside from English, Dr Huang can also provide eye exams in Cantonese and Mandarin. When not in the office you can find her hiking, road cycling, or enjoying the incredible food scene that this city has to offer!
Dr. Eden Pagtalunan
Dr. Eden Pagtalunan was born in the Philippines and raised in Calgary, where she earned her Bachelor of Health Science degree at the University of Calgary. During her undergraduate studies, she became deeply involved in vision research, sparking a lifelong passion for eye health and vision science. This passion led her to pursue her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo, where she further honed her clinical skills and deepened her commitment to patient care. She chose to complete her clinical training in Calgary to deepen her connection with the community and serve the city she calls home.
She is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care, with services ranging from vision correction and preventative eye health to ocular disease management. She has a special interest in myopia control and dry eye therapy. With a passion for patient education and a commitment to personalized care, Dr. Pagtalunan helps individuals of all ages maintain optimal vision and eye health. She is fluent in English and Tagalog.
